Mark set up the Christmas tree
Daddy hung the lights
Mark painted the window
Love this one with Mark smiling in the background
Brett is off contact and droplet precautions so he can now hang out in the hallway
The finished window
The finished room
Thank you so much for your fervent prayers for Brett. Please keep them coming as he will have IV treatment every 6 hours for two weeks to try to completely eradicate the bacteria.
At what point might you get to come home and finish the antibiotics at home? (of course after asking this I have to remember to come back and look for the response!)

ReplyDeleteWe just wait and see. They like to see 4 or more days of no bacteria growth befre dismissal. They usually are a little more lenient with us because they know how Jennifer takes such great care of Brett. Some people don't get the opportunity to do the IV antibiotics at home because the docs don't really thunk the kid will get the proper treatment.
A Christmas miracle would be nice, nut we will just wait and see.

I love the painted window! What a testimony to the birth of Christ!
ReplyDeleteAnd praise the Lord for negative results still!!! Continuing to pray!
The decorations are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Like Tara, I LOVE the painted window. What a true example of Sharing and Caring during the Celebration of the Savior's gift to the world!
ReplyDeleteMark looks so intent and focused on what he's doing and WHY he's doing it - and the photo of him smiling in the background is fabulous - and seeing him on his knees beside Brett's bed and playing with him is awesome! Even being unable to see his face, the love is obvious as Brett is reflecting it back to him! He's a great tribute to you and Rob!!
Again, I had to shed my tears of Thanksgiving and Praise when I read/saw this post!
